The shade is a milky alabaster disc, 10 inches across, set in a brass rim. It projects 4 inches from the wall, which keeps it inside the usual hallway clearance.

Light comes off the edge of the stone rather than from an open bulb. The driver is dimmable. Mount it beside a mirror or as a pair flanking a headboard.
